The Supervisory Board of Grupa Azoty Zakłady Chemiczne fired all board members on Friday, including its chairman, Wojciech Wardacki. At the same time, a new board of directors was appointed. It will be chaired by Marius Grab.
Pursuant to the first decision taken by the Supervisory Board, all members of the Grupa Azoty Police Board of Directors were dismissed from the eighth mandate: Wojciech Wardacki as Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mariusz Kądziołka as Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, Thomas Panas as Vice Chairman and Anna Tarossiška as a member of the Board of Directors. The decision entered into force upon its adoption.
Wojciech Wardacki was appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors on April 7, 2016.
As we read in the announcement, after the dismissal of all members of the Grupa Azoty Police Board of Directors, the Supervisory Board announced that the company’s eighth joint session of the Board of Directors had been terminated earlier.
At the same time, the Board made decisions to appoint members of the Board of Directors of Grupa Azoty Police New, Chapter Nine.
Marius Grab, who is also Vice Chairman of Grupa Azoty SA, has been entrusted with the role of Chairman of the Board of Directors. Chairman of the Board of Directors of Grupa Azoty and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Grupa Azoty Police Serwis. In the past, he was also deputy general manager of ugegluga Szczecińska.
In addition, Michał Siewierski was appointed to the board of directors, entrusted with the position of Vice Chairman, and Anna Tarocińska as a member of the Board of Directors elected by the employees of the company.
As we can read on the company’s website, Grupa Azoty Zakłady Chemiczne Police has been the largest producer of compound fertilizers in the country for more than 50 years. Still working as a police officer for Zakadi Chemichny, she first appeared on the stock exchange in 2005.
In August 2011, the company became part of the leading Polish chemical group and the main capital group in the fertilizer and chemical industry in Europe – Grupa Azoty. The parent company is Tarnów – Grupa Azoty SA, the largest shareholder of the company is the State Treasury with 33% of the shares.
