“As light as a phone” and “thin as a phone” – are the logos of Samsung’s two newest laptops, the Galaxy Book Pro and Galaxy Book Pro 360. The laptops that belong to the first league in its class, something like a flagship smartphone.
Samsung indicates that it understands the smartphone craze that they owe to a relatively compact design that allows you to carry the device with you at all times. The Galaxy Book Pro laptop line brings this idea to life, and the manufacturer wants at least to think about it.
At the same time, it invests in a few premium solutions and ecosystem, which aim to convince people to purchase more than one device from the Galaxy product line.
Galaxy Pro Book and Pro Book 360: Two, four in total
The new models are theoretically two, but in reality four, if we consider that both the one and the second have variants of 13.3 and 15.6 inches.
It differs only in the construction of the matrix flap, which in the case of the Galaxy Pro Book 360, as the name suggests, has a 360-degree hinge. Thus, it allows for use in tablet mode, which is accompanied by the response of the screen to touch and S & nbspPen. Besides, they are twin computers.
Let’s add, with very symbolic dimensions, because the base model with a 13.3-inch screen weighs just 0.87 kg, and the nbsptop, which is 15.6 inches with & nbsptouch – & nbsp1.39 kg. All this with a thickness of only 11.5 mm, and at the same time an extremely spacious battery, 63 or 68 watts, respectively. Still true Excellent It just comes out from under the hood.
Note, AMOLED screen and microSD reader as standard
Yes, all four bodies are equipped with an AMOLED display with Full HD resolution, which of course guarantees high consistent contrast and superb color saturation. In any case, this is confirmed by the VESA DisplayHDR 500 certification. Samsung itself declares that it uses exactly the same technology as in the case of the best smartphones, and nbspto speaks for itself.
The entire platform logic is mandated to 11th generation Intel Core systems with Xe graphics, and is available in a full range of options (from Core i3 to i7). Added to this is up to 32GB of DDR4 memory and a maximum of 1 & nbspTB semiconductor drive.
How about communication? – You will ask. Well there is Wi-Fi 6E with range aggregation and Bluetooth 5.1. On the other hand, people who prefer cable connections will love the Thunderbolt 4 interface and the 10Gbps USB 3.2 connector. Finally, we also have laptops with an onboard microSD memory card reader. You know, there are some problems with the latter, to put it mildly.
However, what has been particularly emphasized – is functionality
We can unlock the Galaxy Pro Book with the fingerprint reader hidden in the key, and the 720p webcam will handle the conference. Unfortunately, it installed classically, and so on & nbspramce. Previous rumors have spoken of using the sub-screen sensor, but you can see – Koreans haven’t decided to do that, at least until now.
Also emphasized by the manufacturer, the PC hardware feature is a very comfortable keyboard, although it’s just another slogan at this point.
Meanwhile, the logo is not the Dolby Atmos-enabled speakers offered by AKG, 65W fast charging via USB-C socket, Windows 10 Home or Pro are in standard.
The only question is how with accessibility in Poland
Basically, there is only one problem currently visible, albeit dangerous for Poles. It is not known if any of the laptops shown will ever be available on the Vistula River. If so, it would be useful, because the 13.3-inch Galaxy Book Pro (8 GB of RAM, 256 GB SSD) is expected to cost $ 999.
Given the Galaxy S21 + at a similar price abroad, it would be 4,399 PLN. Not really much, for a PC with a high-end OLED display that’s packed with technology.
